No poolside Happy Hour alert!

WOW ~ Everything sold!  People everywhere.  Quite a big event.  Good job Beth. Bill and Doug Frost!  Good job Craig Conley and Lynn! Dush food wagon rocks and so do their fabulous pies!!
We will be preparing for the big AUCTION at 130 N Vernon Avenue so no Poolside Happy Hour 6/24.

There will be millions of treasures you can't live without on the auction block starting Saturday 6/25 at 10:00 AM.

The house will not be auctioned but it will be for sale.  The house sits on one lot and there are two additional lots.  About 2.68 acres +/- total.  It is a 3 bedroom one bath on the main level, living room with fireplace, main level family room with wood burning stove, 2 car attached garage, large basement with shower bath.  The house has a gas generator.  There are 3 outbuilding of various sizes behind the house.

A few pictures from 6/17

We'll be checking the lottery tickets to see if these
folks are now the Nouveau riche!
A few pictures from our Saturday paddle are in the post below.

Innocent looking isn't he?

I had not found these pictures until Sunday 6/19.  They our from the first poolside party of 2016.

Things got a little squirrelly before Happy Hour.
His mom did come and get him before guests started showing up so there was a happy ending!

Better than usual but still no winner.

Planning on Happy Hour June 17!

Rick and Margo are in town and you'll be able to say hello at Friday Happy Hour!

As always, weather permitting so if it looks questionable, check back to be sure.

Looks like a good chance of rain for Friday.

We'll keep an eye on things but for now, unlikely to have Happy Hour poolside Friday 6/10.

We will be poolside 5:00 PM Friday 6-3 and hope you can make it too!

Favorable forecast for Friday from the Weather Channel with warm and breezy!

Beth will be stirring up some some Frosty's Famous Central Ohio Shredded Chicken Sandwiches (or something just as good).  Maybe I'll try something too?  Fair warning.

We'll be checking the PowerBall numbers purchased last week to see if our Sunday Happy Hour attendees are now wealthy folks AND adding a new ticket for this Friday.

For the folks who come by to swim during the afternoon throughout the summer.  Please give Beth a text with when and how many before you stop by.  Thanks!
There will be some swimming lessons going on from time to time.

How about Sunday May 29?

Sunday forecast is mid 80's.  We'll be poolside at 2:00 pm.  Please join us.

We'll have some chicken on the grill and some cold ones in the cooler.

Hope to see you Sunday if not before!

829 E. Village Drive Street view.

Maybe this year is the year we strike it big and to start things out, I'll invest in a ticket for this Sunday's attendees.
To review the current rules, any "welcome guest"** who attends that Friday, or in this case Sunday Happy Hour in which we win a PowerBall jackpot on the next drawing, they share equally in the pot.

We have the caveat "welcome guest**" to be able to not include those who are not intended to be included such as the pizza guy, the dude that cuts across the back yard, errant skydivers, wandering neighbors and the like. Minors under the age of 18 do not qualify for a share unless agreed upon by Kim and Beth. Kim and Beth are the final authority as defining "welcome guests".  This statement of policy supersedes any previous statement of policy.

I really do expect good weather this summer.

Spring has been way too iffy for Happy Hour but the long term forecast is much warmer.  Maybe 9 or 10 days in a row in the 80's!

We are thinking we will have to put off Happy Hour for at least another week because of these big doings downtown.

Hey hey what do you say?

Things are coming along pool wise. Opened almost two weeks ago. The water looked great after a long winters nap. Very clear! Pump motor would not cooperate so out with the old and in with the new. The new motor got the pump flowing and filter filtering. New drive bands were installed on "Robby" our automated pool bottom and wall cleaner. Uncle Brien came over and did some re-wiring and we put Robby to work. He's been doing a great job.

Rick and Margo and Snickers were at Low Key House for a nice long stay leaving 4/18.
Linda, Mark and Russ Granger stopped by for the night last Friday 4/22. Russ is moving to Alabama and this was a "So long Ohio" stop. Ohio will miss Russ as will Beth and I.
While Grangers were here, Don and Chris + Barry and Kathy came over to round out the festivities.
Barry and Kathy were also saying good by and officially moved to NC. They too will be dearly missed.

Check back to see when Happy Hours start. We're thinking a nice warm Friday in May can't be too far away. Hope to see you then!
