Check out this lovely gal!

Do you know who I am?

Maybe we'll get to see her this summer!

Unstable weather patterns make for an unstable Happy Hour prediction for this coming Friday Holiday Weekend.

We will be a YES weather allowing.

While I'm thinking about weather, that reminds me to put our emergency procedure back into place. Here's what to do if strong storms are a imminent during Happy Hour.

We can seek shelter by entering the garage attached to the house through the car doors, if open or the man door at the rear of the garage. Turn to your right and head down the staircase in the garage to the basement if you enter through the man door. I'll have a flashlight on top of the short refrigerator just as you enter the man door. Please assist others by shining the light on the steps if it's too dark to see well.

Let's hope we never have to move Happy Hour to the basement!

Another good Friday. That's 2 in a row!!!

We had some new faces at Happy Hour. Neighbors Karen and Dale brought their pups along. Jeff, Linda and Alli also made a first appearance. We hope to see them all thought the season.
The roster fill out as follows: The Brien and Terry, Barry, Kathy, Amanda and Lilli, Don, Nancy, Isabel, Dawn and Dennis. Alan and Bonnie, Marty and Reece. Food, company and beverage, all excellent.

We had 3 swimmers Friday night being Isabel, Lilli and Reece. The pool was about 72 and we pushed it up to 80 for Saturday swim.

Once again the lottery ticket was a bust. Not one number. We must be saving up for a big payday.
Here are a few pics Beth took. She pointed out that Marty and I were both trying to make some point with Reece. I'm sure it was very important.

Beth came up with the idea of posting a sheet to keep track of how many lengths you swim this summer, if you want to keep track that is. We'll set the chart up as a swim down the Keys starting at where ever you want in the Keys. Florida City is about at mile marker 127 and mile marker "0" is on Whitehead Street in Key West. Set a goal that will make you work. 127 seems a bit much for me. I know I'll be under 100 miles. You can start at whatever mile marker be it Key Largo, Big Pine, Sugarloaf, Boca Chica or Stock Island.

We had great weather for the May 13 Happy Hour

Don't know where it went but at least it was here for a bit.

Brien Moore was the first to arrive. I'm not sure who was next as I had to leave but when I returned Terry Moore had joined the party. Don, Nancy, Isabel and Dawn were in attendance. Alisha, Greg and their young one Porter (black with red collar) were in from Indianapolis. The Hupp's, Amanda and Lilly were here too. Lilly was the first Happy Hour guest to take a swim. She stayed in the water what I thought was quite a while. Alan was here and Marty & Reece stopped for a bit and Reece joined Lilly in the pool for a 1/2 swim.

Don and Chris visited and told of a great time in Mexico with Mark and Linda.

Beth purchased a lottery ticket so as to make everyone in attendance rich - semi rich or at least a bit better off. Once again, the plan failed with zero - zilch - nada numbers hitting. We shall endeavor to preserver in our efforts. Better chance than investing with Madoff.

The weather channel out look for this coming Friday give us some hope. Chances of rain decreasing from 20% early to 10% later in the day. 60 at 9am & up to 74 - not bad. Right now we are thinking yes to Happy Hour for May 20! Here are some pictures of the May 13 issue of Happy Hour.

Hello! Blogger has been down since at least 5:00 AM!

I haven't been able to do an update!

It looks like we are ON for Happy Hour.

According to the Weather Channel, chance of rain increases from 15% to 30% at 7:00 and to 60% at 8:00.

It will be great to see you all.

BTW the water was 64 on Wed and cold. It was 70 last night and much better but still cold. Today it's 72 and some kids might be able to stand it.
