MUTINY!

Happy Hour commandeered by rouges and scalawags. Despite our posted alert a happy hour was forced upon us! We were out numbered 5 or 7 to 2 depending on how you figure it. We put up a less than enthusiastic battle and succumbed quickly.
However we did come up with a smoke and mirrors plan. Most of the mutineers were tricked into "Going out to eat". The forces of good triumphed and the salmon and asparagus was quite good at Del Mar.
Pictures to follow as soon as I locate my camera. I wonder if it was plundered?

The Weather Channel has us expecting "strong storms" and "possible hail" and "high winds". As of now it looks like the prudent decision is a no go for Happy Hour at the Happy Pool House on June 19, 2009.

Unqualified success!

It was great weather for Happy Hour. Rumors about the watermelon were correct. It was just right. A tasty pasta dish was served.
There were 12 attendees. Many stories were told. I’m sure some of them were mostly true.
Wes has agreed to play guitar and sing again. I’ll post the date as soon as it determined.

June 5th report

Amie hosted the start of happy hour for us. It was quite enjoyable. I really had a good time. It was a ~ weird ~ happy hour though.

Friday 6/5 from a Wednesday 6/3 point of view

Friday looks like it's going to be the best day of the week. From this far out it looks good for HH.

BE CAREFUL turning into the driveway for the next couple weeks. We are expanding the driveway apron to allow for sharper turns, a good thing. A very wide turn will be required though, while the new concrete triangle hardens. Larger vehicles might want to continue past the driveway to the end of the street where there's a nice big cul-de-sac. You can then approach the drive from the other direction and not damage the new concrete. Thank you very much!

I think I'll post this warning a couple more times just to be safe.
