UPDATE 4:50.  Storms creeping closer but still to the west.  See you shortly if you can make it!

Storm animation on the Weather Channel has the storms staying west of us.  It runs the projection until about 7:30.  I'll check back in with Weather Channel to get and to give an update about 4 to 4:30 tonight.

Looking good for Happy Hour May 31

The weather report has us in the 80's with a 30% chance of rain.  That's the best shot since last September.

Had better than 10 swimmers today!  Pools getting warmer every day at about 76 or 77 today.  Likely 80's by Happy Hour.

Beth is going to grill up some burgers.  Let's go for it.  Hope to see you here Friday May 31!

As always, if the weather forecast changes for the worse, check back to see if we are still on ... but I'm optimistic!

Curses ... foiled again!

 

80's Wednesday.  70's Thursday.  LOW 60's Friday and lets throw in some 17 mile per hours winds.

No Happy Hour poolside this Friday May 24 due to the forecast.  We'll be shooting for next week.

Looks like Friday May 24 will be our first Happy Hour of the season!

As always, Happy Hour will be weather permitting.  The five day forecast call for 68 and sunny.  Check back to be sure.  We hope to see you at Happy Hour!

We are very close, very close in deed.

The pool has cleaned up pretty nicely with some finishing touches needed. We have 1/2 the winter pool stuff put to bed until October and much of the summer stuff out.

I'm thinking next Friday, May 24 is a likely first Happy Hour of the season!  Check back mid week.  I'll be keeping an eye on the forecast.

We chipped through the ice & took the cover off. We have a pool!

We have a ways to go but we are getting there.  The cover came off Thursday May 9 and the filter was up and running the next day.

Once we get through the Mother's Day cold snap, we'll be headed in the right direction.  Next Friday is a possibility according to the long term forecast.  It will take some intensive gardening and pool house clean up but right now I'm not ruling out Happy Hour for Friday May 17.  We'll have to wait and see!

Our good neighbor's from the Market Basket may help add some very tasty items to our HH hors d'oeuvres line up.  Skip and Tammy are opening a CHAMPS Chicken at the Market Basket setup within their Cherry Valley Road Market Basket.  There is a link to a CHAMPS menu on the right side of the page.  I wonder what they will bring?  I'll keep you posted as to which HH they will be presenting.  While you're there, check out their huge selection of domestic and craft beers.
