Hey NHS class of 1974. If you are in town and looking for something to do on Friday August 22, stop by for Happy Hour!

The weather this week has been hard to predict.  Since this is a fair weather event, you may want to check back to see if we are on for Happy Hour as the time gets close.  I'll post it here if we have to cancel.  Maybe the Beverage Source (old L&K at the Dug-way) or Allison (old Damons) would make for a bad weather rendezvous, yes?

We had a nice turnout last week.  I'd guess close to 20 attendees stopped by. I was a surprise to see Liam being our farthest traveler coming in from California. Krista Campbell was in from Pittsburgh, Ginger and Jim from Westerville.  It was also a delightful surprise to have Nick, Katie and young Carson Snider here for a visit.  That Carson was styling and smiling the whole time he was here.  Michele and Reece stopped in for a while.  Reece has been busy all summer and we hadn't had much of a chance to say hello.  It will be exciting in the neighborhood before too long when she gets her drivers permit!  Gramps Snider and his child bride Chris, Barry and Kathy Hupp, Brien and Terry Moore, Don and Nancy Clary, Tom Scono and last but far from least Alan Montgomery were all in attendance.  Collectively the entire crew enjoyed about 3 dozen Cincinnati chili-dogs.  Those remaining were polished off by me over the next couple days.  Man I love those Cincy dogs!  There were lots of other delicious sides and deserts brought by many.  Thanks to all for being here to shoot the breeze.

We did hit the Powerball Drawing!  Just the red ball so no payout but it will pay for this weeks ticket.  Powerball info at the bottom of the page.

Beth and others took a few pics so here they are for your enjoyment.

Carson's hat pictured here on the table, really set off his style.  As the night went along, several other attendees took the opportunity to try it on.  The social media ban during Happy Hour guarantees prohibit any pictures from being displayed here.

*To review, any "welcome guest"** who attends that Friday happy hour in which we win a Powerball jackpot on the next drawing, shares equally in the pot.

** We have the caveat "welcome guest" to be able to not include those who are not intended to be included such as the pizza guy, the dude that cuts across the back yard, errant skydivers, wandering neighbors and the like. Minors under the age of 18 do not qualify for a share unless agreed upon by Kim and Beth. We are the final authority as defining "welcome guests".  This statement of policy supersedes any previous statement of policy.
