A large lively crowd of 24 and two dogs attended. The blueberry chicken was devoured with enthusiasm as were the Blueberry Mojitos. There was a ton of great side-dishes as well. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful contributions.
The 85 degree water temps and warm weather and having lots of younger attendees lead to quite a few swimmers throughout the afternoon and twilight. Nautical twilight, the sun being 12% below the horizon.

Special congratulations to my KanJam partner for what I have dubbed the "Miracle on Grass". We were down miserably to our opponents. They had just reached the winning score of 21. We were soooo far behind ( Maybe a total of only 7 points in our column ). The only hope was for rookie KanJammer Charlie to jam out. Hit the slot, go into the kan unaided. He cranked back and let her fly. She came in fast and just the right height. SLAM in the Kan! A legend is born!
