Happy Hour fund raising plans for 9/22/2017!

OK... Here is what the weather folks are saying for Friday September 22 as of Wednesday September 13, 2017
Warmer Happy Hour
WEATHER UPDATE as of 9-18!

Wear some Caribbean gear, hat, T-shirt, tropical shirt.
Let's try for a group picture at 6:30 +/-

Our original thoughts from back in August,
"Let's have a Caribbean theme Happy Hour".

As Irma closed in, that plan started to seem cavalier.  Even more so after seeing the utter devastation that took place on St Martin, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, St John, St Thomas and then on to our second home, the Florida Keys and Key West.
We took down our "hint of our next Happy Hour theme" a map of the Caribbean, thinking maybe not such a good idea.

Having time to think about it,
here's what we would like to do.

Let's have a Caribbean fund raiser
Happy Hour September 22.

This is a link you can copy and paste to send to good friends that you think would help raise a few dollars for the cause.
Our address is on this link!

Please plan on attending and putting $5, $10, $50, $100 whatever bucks in the kitty.  I'll be doing some research to try and find the safest most useful spot(s) to send our donations.  Please inform me if any of you know of any organization(s) that are sure to get our money to where it will do the most good.  I'll try to check out all you recommend @  Charity Navigator link
We'll take recommendations as to where to send our money too.

We'll update this and the Happy Hour blog when a decision is made as to where we want to donate.  I'll work hard to do it right.

My e-mail is bkkeywest@hotmail.com

Pass the word about this Happy Hour.  Every little bit will help.

We will provide some BBQ for all to enjoy at
90 N. Terrace Avenue. 9/22/2017
5:00 PM until 8:00 or maybe a little later.

It seems there is nothing green remaining

We visited Jost Van Dyke in 2014 by kayak.  We camped at Ivan's Stress Free Campground for a few days.  We came back after camping and stayed a week.  We both admit it was the best vacation we have ever had.
Beautiful people, beautiful island.

Jost has a about 300 residents.  We don't want to see them passed by due to small population.  They are a gem of the Caribbean.

Some Jost Van Dyke before and after pictures.
