Great Indian food with a splash of American fare added in.
Beth and Chris did a great job with the most exotic food. Flavored biryani shrimp and rice. Thanks Chris! And the chicken korma and spicy vindaloo. Thanks Beth! Also the diligent testing of the cucumber cocktails the night before Happy Hour really paid dividends. Good job Beth, Chris and Karen! Thanks to everyone else who brought their favorite dishes and snacks to share.
I'll be checking on the Mega and PowerBall results and reporting our winnings. Too bad we didn't get in on that $700,000,000 + ticket but a couple mill each would sooth the disappointment. Here's hoping. I counted 15 adults 3 youths and two pups in attendance.
Not likely to have another Happy Hour until September 23 ??? say it ain't so! Possible for 9/1/17 but not likely due to the busy holiday weekend. Check back for more details just in case. The 9/23 Happy Hour theme is already in the works and I am overjoyed ... weather permitting of course.
Not a ton of summer Fridays remaining so let's make the best of this one.
